I have one of the late run engines that were made with PDP porting. I run it on 5% Sig fuel which is 20% oil with half castor and half synthetic. It performs just like my Lee Custom .61. I like them both for flying on old school 60 size planes. I set them up to run about 300 rpm rich at the top end and around 2300 rpm at idle. Both of them seem to like an 11x8 best. They may not be up to the hot standards of today but, I find both very user friendly and lot of fun.
