</div><div>The club I am a member of requires AMA membership (insurance coverage) before the first flight. Your profile says you are a member of the Dalton RC Flyers. The AMA website says one of the club restrictions for the Dalton RC Flyers is AMA membership. So, assuming all this is accurate why was he allowed to fly "several times" without AMA coverage? Did this not put the club at risk?</div><div>
</div><div>My point is that unless we as club members take the AMA requirement seriously why should someone else less knowledgeable about it put much importance on it?</div>
