This was my first impression of the AMA, I felt that I could not fly anywhere without being member of some club that I felt was only out to get my hard-earned money. I was even a member of the SFA for awhile in protest to the AMA. But, since then I have changed my mind about the AMA but I still feel it's unfare to have to be a member of one club in order to be a member of another...... now look, I've went and strayed from the subject......

I can't totally disagree with you, because life is awfully unfair sometimes. However, the dual membership issue is actually purchasing liability insurance to cover any disastrous occurrence and supporting the local clubs flying field and associated amenities. To me that ain't too bad a deal.
