Scar...that 3 blade prop is very wide. Almost makes the airplane un flyable. You don't need flaps as flaps are not speed brakes they are lift augmentation devices.
I think the OP has enough expierence to fly this airplane with a 2 blade and no flaps....The 2 or 3 times I have taught with this airplane we kept the flaps up. Seems to work better as a trainer that way
