Welcome to the great hobby/sport that is RC flying. I wish you luck as you learn. Even though you have a year's worth of experience hooking up with a club wouldn't be a bad way to go. I know you say that the nearest club is 3 hours away, but many times people will have clubs closer to them than they realize. Your profile lists you as being in Union, Missouri so I used that as the basis of a search on the AMA's website. They show 2 clubs withing 25 miles of you. You might try getting in touch with them. You would be surprised just how much help a club can be. They can help you out as you transition to your second plane much better than we can, as they are there in person and we are just words on a screen. Give them a try.<div>
