RE: A new rogue pilot with questions
Thanks for all the info. I tried to google flying clubs and all I found was one in Illinois. <div>
</div><div>RCKen,</div><div> I had no idea AMA's website even listed them. I was searching their website when I first got into the hobby. I would much rather fly at a club rather than the industrial park where power lines are like AA guns trying to always shoot you down. </div><div>
</div><div>Back to the Mustang... speed is not my worry because the Nexstar with the "training wheels" off is pretty dern fast if you ask me. I just didn't know if I should expect any different flight characteristics out of a low wing plane. I did convert my Nexstar to a taildragger to get used to that. That went really good... as long as I can take off directly into the wind. I'm not sure if the Nexstar's rudder is quite big enough to be a taildragger.</div>
