RE: General Hobby or Hobby4less, experiences?
When I'm searching for parts and run across a web site and they don't show a physical address I will steer away from them. That's not in every case. If I have heard good things about them, I will give them a chance.
I also get very suspicious when a company uses different names to operate. I just don't have the time or money to get hung up triing to get my money back, or DOA products taken care of.
I won a pair of receiver batteries on e-bay. I had never dealt with the company before but they had a good feed back score. After I won, I got an e-mail say they were out of stock. They gave me the option of cancelling the order or wait and they would ship as soon as they came in. I got very upset and sent a e-mail questioning why they would offer to sell when they were out of stock and cancelled my order. After thinking about it, I returned an e-mail informing them to just hold my money ship as soon as they could. The confirmed my e-mail. In less than a week I got another e-mail from them telling me that my batteries had been shipped with a tracking number. In about three days I had my batteries, nicely packaged and a nice note. I was happy. That company, All Battery, turns out to be a nice company to deal with.
Once I find a company with the right prices, good product, and excellent service, I will stay with them.
Sorry you are having problems, it's a real bummer I know.
