Default When to replace a thrust tube?

I recently had an exciting start in my F15 and had flames coming from my thrust tube(s) ... I think the flames were from a ruptured gas input line feed the turbine from the front ... the thrust tube looks ok on inspection and gas and fuel was turned off pretty quick ... Also I have a Wren Supersport that on installation the first few starts (kero start) also were pretty fierce and again on start small blue flames were evident swirling around the intake to the thrust tube (all looks ok)...

My question is, is it easily determinable when the thrust tube is damaged due starting issues and needs replaceing?

Does anybody have and photos etc for reference?

Regards,

Scott.
