I used the 1/8 USAAF full pilot figure from vailly aviation, comes unpainted. Also used the Topflite cockpit Kit. Not having much luck with the plane though. Crashed 3 times In 22 flights.Twice while landing, It just decided to drop a wing for no apparent reason.Didnt seem that slow. The wing tip hit the ground and broke in half at the Weak point, where the spar gets narrow for the undercarriage.The scale of Damage to the wing was alot more than what you would expect from this sort of mishap due to the weak points in the main spar.The plane weighs ten pounds, a bit heavy probably. I installed flaps and have a DLE 20 Gas Engine. I'm in the process of repairing the wing for the third time, I'll reinforce the wing as shown in an earlier thread posted by craig RCU so that if I have another wing tip hitting the ground the damage might not be as bad.
I cant find the replacement wheel wells in stock anywhere. Have Hangar 9 discontinued the Corsair 60?
