I have used both JR (11X) and Spektrum (2 x DX8s and a new DX7s) all with equally good perfect reliability..

I do thorough range tests on every new radio / RX and combination after binding..

I also fly Futaba 8FG and do similar tests.. they are all virtually identical.. but the best range results by FAR were with a JR11X Tx and a Spektrum AR8000 Receiver.. it was 30% better than using the JR Receiver...
