thank you All for your response I highly appreciate your time to solve my problem with the byron p51..Ispoke to Masteromodels who owned several of these planes he said i do need a 24 volt starter that i will get,I think the gear reduction adds to the starting problem.I have rebuilt the carb and adjusted the mag.Hope the starter will solve my problem...... For the money spent on 24V starter and batteries and dragging them to field(I thought no support eguipment was one big reason for gas) take the money and get a DLE55.Use the US41 as a boat anchor or sell it for $50 + shipping. I got my FLAME suit on but this is GOOD advice.
