My power supply was purchased from AS&S. Cost was about 40$ for the kit plus another maybe 10$ for the box from Radio Shack. AS&S sez it is the supply recommended by Rutan's company for smaller projects. Simple analog type, but works repeatably well... I suppose I could put a volt meter in the circuit and detrmine precise power settings, but I don't bother. I have simply marked the control knob for the settings that work for my bow.

BTW- the bow is similar to RG's. I bought a glass rod intended for a reflector, from Home Depot. It's lightweight, about 6' long, and required a little cutting to get the bow down to 4'. When flexed, it produces nice tension.....
