LOOKS GREAT Pete, looks like plenty of power, and sounds great.
well, I took out my Corsair out a few days ago and could not get it to run properly, right after I did two things, I adjusted the valves and used the correct fuel, and l could not get it to run over half throttle, so home I went and tried to change back to the old fuel that I was running before, and still no luck, then realized the only thing next was to check out the valve adjusting, then I realized I had used the wrong feelers gauge thinking that these are the ones I use on my other 4 stroke engines, which are 0.040- to 0.010, so back to the manuel and seen the correct .004- to .006, so I plan on getting the correct gauges tomorrow and re-lash those valves again and hope fully get them right and hopefully run a lot better this week, if it works I will be tickled pink again- Steve

well, more trouble could not get the engine to run just under half throttle, rechecked the valves and still did not run any better, a friend came over and he determined that sounded like the carb was starving for fuel just below half throttle so, we took the carb off and found that the spray bar was full of crap and plugged solid, could not blow though it or nothing so took a pin and poked through the spray bar and flushed it out and put it back together and man what a difference, runs like a million bucks, even pick up a few RPMs now the 9 cyl, runs the 24x12x2 @ 56-5700 rpms and pulls like a son-of-gun, now its time to rip the sky`s and get those Japs-Steve.
