RE: IR battle question: Solved.
For an 88, I just figured you could use a Mako with RX-18 with HL Tx and Rx, since there's plenty of space.
With the Ketten, I can barely get the Mako inside, it has to be glued under the seat after I removed all the JST and header pins.
That said, I guess an 88, or any anti tank weapon could be fired with a Mako, 2.4 Rx, pico switch and regulated 4.5 power (with resistance for the emitter and clean for the Mako). Strange thing is, a pico is $20, but a RX-18 is as low as $8 and since most guys have a pile of HL Tx/Rxs lying around after upgrades (I have at least 3 or 4), why not?
I'll draw up what I did as well as take photos once I solder it together.
