It's remarkably over engineered yet still a somewhat unreliable turbine. I think it is one of the better 850's, this one was made in Japan with the twin feed oil pump, some were made in Germany and these tended to have a very unreliable single feed oil pump. Like others have said I think it would be a shame to run it. To answer your question on the handset, they are available and most jet modellers a have a couple in their spare box.
