You probably want to make that Twist your 3rd. or 4th. airplane.
I dunno. I owned a twist as a 2nd plane. With the throws reduced it is ok. However, the Twist is extremely fragile...especially right behind the canopy...almost all of them I have seen are broken there.
So...I would at least wait to fly it till you can land proficiently and not bounce down hard. It wont take very many hard landings. I think the Stick planes are the absolute best 2nd plane. I only bought a Twist because I had it recommended to me by a couple different people as a decent 2nd or 3rd plane...but not till I got my landings down to where I could grease in 10 of 10 every time.
Well Ive been spending boat load of time on the sim and have attained great confidence when landing but Iwill look at the rear of the canopy to see if indeed it is broken or on its way out. I hope its not ASfragile as you say, seems as though youre suggesting any type of crash will total it. Of course I plan on NEVERgoing down but if the saying is the same for planes as street bikes then, youll go down eventually, if you havent..... YOUWILL
