problem trying to choke the ZDZ 40cc
Hello:
I have been trying to helpt to riribarr, the actual problem is how to get wet the cylinder with gas to start the engine. When we choke it, it never sucks fuel to the cylinder, we have to prime it with a lot of fuel drops into the carb. ( rear carb)
Once the engine started the first time then the following starts are easy.
I thing that the little hole in the butterfly of the choke avoids to seal the carb enought to suck fuel to a "choke" level. I solve this very same problem in my ryobi 31 cc using a little piece of 3m adhesive tape to seal the little hole, then later when I used the choke the engine were flooded very well. In some other threads some guys has used silver solder in this hole to obtain a fully closed choke effect.
We only want to know if the "first start" is for all of tyou a hard and difficult job or this carb, in particvular, has something wrong or misstuned.
Thanks.
Tato.
