Default RE: 2.4 GHz and aluminum tail boom. Any interference?

ORIGINAL: PAK26499 Hello. I have a Futaba 4YF 2.4 GHz FHSS radio with the R2004GF receiver. I would like to install it in a Duraplane I have. The duraplane has an aluminum tailboom. Does anyone know if the tail boom would cause any interference with the 2.4 GHz system? I currently use a FM radio system and it works just fine but would still like to switch if I knew it would be just as reliable. Thanks in advance........
Install ensuring RXantenna tips are not parallel nor closeto the boom,
range test as always, then go fly.
