RE: DBC/DBU2 problems, need advice(fixed)
Fully charged should be over 8 volts, I think mine are usually 8.4 when they go to trickle charge.
Anytime I had a glitch with it, it was a low power issue. The battery can still have charge, but if the tank is drawing heavy, it can be enough to drop, especially if you're using NiCads. I use the 1800 mAhs in my Tamiyas all day long, but the same battery in the HLs with 400 motors, metal tracks and gears, DBC and Benedini there's a lot of drain.
Once I switched to NiMH 4200mAh, never had an issue.
I know the airplane guys talk a lot about power draw on motors based on prop size, and it really matters. Even running through higher grass will draw from the battery more.
