Default RE: Flight-Model KI-61 ???

frets24, my snap rolls are elevator full up with rudder and ailerons full left. This plane recovers instantly as controls are released. I removed a little more material from the cowl around front of the engine. Added gun barrels to top of cowl to use as small air scoops. Need all you can get. Inlarged the holes in front top of cowl behind spinner. Started and ran ok. Two flights today. Didn't quit in the air, but if I let it idle on the ground very long after landing the engine quit. I think I'm still getting some vapor lock. The upper rear of the cowl area feels hot. I think the carb and fuel lines start to get too hot from the pitts muffler can as soon as air flow through cowl slows down. Here are some pictures of the plane at the field.
