Not trying to gang up on you heliman but I agree 12 and 3/4 inches is a good cg starting point., I moved mine back to 13 after about a dozen flights and that's where it has been for over 50 flights now, I even took mine back to 13.5" she got pretty pitch sensitive there but still very controllable and docile. You must have done something wrong way to many people have had success with this airplane for it to be a MFG error on the CG. I'll agree it's not a perfect out of the box plane but for the money and the performance it cannot be beat.
