Default Finally figured out problem with DA50!

Guys,
Many of you know of my recent ongoing problems starting my DA50. Well, Dave K called me back from DA today, and said that the IGN had "several possible issues."
1. I had soldered on a Futaba J connector in place of their big, black and red connector.
The funny thing is that they had my engine twice in the last few weeks, and they said everything was good. They never mentioned the connector being a possible culprit. I used heavy gauge wire, and did a perfect soldering job. I think now, they must feel it "could" have been a problem.
2. Dave also said that the spark plug boot was missing the spring inside. He said it comes loose sometimes with removing the plug boot over and over again. I never noticed a spring in there before, so I'm anxious to see what it looks like, when my new IGN arrives.
3. Finally, Dave said they thought the IGN box itself could be showing some problems too, but they weren't quite sure. I don't think it was much of an issue, because they are sending me a brand new IGN, and I'll have it tomorrow!
So to all of you DA guys, make sure you use caution in removing your plug boot. I think since I was having issues for a couple months, I probably removed my boot more than most of you do in an entire year or more, so this is probably why my spring came out.
I can't say enough how great DA's customer service is. Dave K makes you feel like you are their only customer, every time you get on the phone with him.

P.S. Have any of you guys ever had this same issue with the spring inside the plug boot? Thanks.
