Mr. Lin did not comment on the 40/46 problem. It's not out yet, but be watching for the NMPRA news letter. I will be contacting the Club-40 CD's in this area to set some standards for checking engines at races.

This is something I have been lax in doing.

Some things you can expect to happen at the <span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word" word="nats" state="new" splc="splc">nats</span> race.

1. Visual inspection of engines, carburetors, &amp; mufflers and possible check of stroke prior to race.

2. Dedicated fuel station with some one there to monitor fueling.
a: you will be required to defuel your plane, and then refuel it.
<span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word" word="b" state="new" splc="splc">b</span>: After plane has been refueled it will be placed on the ready line.
You will not be allowed to take it back to the pit area.

3. Winning planes will be impounded after race and torn down for final inspection.

These are in addition to the normal inspections done.</p>
