Yes, but if you want the RC car, you can get it for any price you wish if you beat the person..... Imagine, people taking other'smachines all because they drive better.
Of course, after the next race with the better car, they could have bids to trade for a lesser car, with a winner randomly chosen.
I supppose brushless or lipo would be fine, as long as it's very spec.
