Not to sure of the Russian Tank Commander, But I swear I read a narrative similar to this story in one of the Greatest German Tanks Aces. Not sure, I'll look and let you know. But it did occure against the Russians, don't think that late in the war though. I hope to finde the editition and I'll let you know. Fantastic movie clip.
