Default Gas Engine for Scale Civilian Airplane

I am working on a 1/4 scale 1946 Globe Swift and I am trying to pick a good gasoline engine. I fly scale and have no intention to perform any 3D maneuvers. The airplane should come in around the 20 to 21 lbs. I have looked at the DEL and Aerovate engines with little available information on the Aerovate after 2009. If you look at the photo you can see why I am considering using Flite metal to cover it.
