Very interesting - The reason I asked is because there is a sticker on the car that mentions damaging the servo if not powered off in the correct order.
When I first started in RC, I made this mistake. Unknown to me (on the drivers stand) my throttle servo went to full brake because I turned off the radio and the failsafe kicked in. In less than 2 minutes my servo went up, creating a ball of smoke that impressed everyone.

j/k I got bored of it fast and ripped it to pieces still trying to figure out how to mount a 2S lipo to it cause I converted everything else to standard electronics (it had an all in 1 electronics/rx board, and used AA's)
