RE: Hangar 9 Fokker DVII
Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Part of the Duck's appeal to me is the "OMG! What the heck is that thing??" reaction from fellow pilots at the field. I love it for its oddballness. I feel kind of like it's kin... I dream big. I want to paint it in warbird camo, put a duck beak with shark teeth on the nose (ala' WarHawk), add a mean duck pilot figure, stars and bars and the designation "D 40 WarDuck." Then I want to fly it at Warbirds over Delaware. LMAO!!
Thanks for the info on the painting process you use. For me, that is kind of "above and beyond." But I can certainly admire people who do what you do. I'm not trying to win any prizes, and I don't much care what other people think about me and my stuff. As long as it works for me, good enough, by definition, is good enough.
