I had a set back today. I got all the lights wired up, and was starting to focus on the resin turret. I was reaming out the mantlet to accept the bbl and get it ready for the recoil, but I misjudged and I put a 5/8 drill bit into my hand. 7 stitches later I am wondering how I could have been so stupid. I knew when it happened that it was going to take more then CA to fix it.

To add insult to this injury, after I hurt myself I set my drill down on a pair of gloves that I normally wear. If only I had the darn things on. I real bonehead move on my part. Always wear the proper safety gear when working with tools. As the freezing is starting to come out of my hand, I can see I am going to have a painful reminder about why you always wear the right gear for the job. Irony is the industry I work in has a big push on protecting ones hands as the statistics show we have more hand injuries then any other. Just yesterday I was doing a Workplace Safety Observation, and I made a point of telling people the importance of protecting ones hands, and that everyone was expected to wear gloves. Right after I did this, the first thing that went though my mind was the embarrassment of showing up at work with this easily prevented injury. DUH
I guess I was due for a tetanus shot anyway.
I get some pictures of the tank up with all the LED lighitng I put i it.
