need help with ezrun...LED
OK
just tried running 3s lipo on my model with the ezrun 35a esc and novatech 540 3500kv motor.
I wired the ESC's fan to be powered off the reciever...
And I added another fan for the motor, also powered off the reciever.
Buggy ran fine for a few minutes...then I lost steering. I thought the servo went...but when I unplugged one of the fans the steering came back!
A minute or 2 later, I lost steering and then throttle just seconds later.
Again, I unplugged both fans...turned everything off and then back on.
I left one fan (motor) unplugged, but just seconds later the throttle shut off again.
When I lost throttle, i just had to turn it off and then back on for it to work again.
Whenever the throttle quit, the led on the esc was blinking green.
I looked at the ezrun manual but couldnt find what blinking green meant.
Im pretty sure it wasnt overheating. I could keep my finger on the esc heatsink...and even on the motor. couldnt have been more than 120 degrees.
And Im fairly sure that the ezrun esc blinks read if it thermal shutdowns.
Anyone know whats going on? Am I exceeding the BEC on the reciever? What does blinking green on the ezrun 35a esc mean?
