....or can a clothes iron with a
Coverite Pocket Thermometer do the trick?
This will be my first balsa build, and I'm trying to keep initial costs to a minumum (but I also want to have a successful build).
Excellent, the infrared thermometer was the best thing to happen in covering in a long time. You can find them on sale at Harbor Freight some times. I use mine all the time, for more things than I ever anticipated.
I covered my first wing with a clothes iron (Army guys can operate an iron almost as well as Marines.) When I started getting into the corners around the tail feathers, I decided a trim iron would be a good idea. You'll get there with a clothes iron, if you don't have a trim iron.
Welcome aboard.
