The only negative is that it was a hot florida day, so density altitude was probably in the 1 to 2k area.
Density altitude can sometimes kick our butt here in CO; sometimes it's around 9K+ on a hot afternoon. Sounds like yours was likely "only" around 2K+ Check out this chart to see what I mean: <http://www.pcisys.net/~rmjs/dens_alt.gif>
