I thought Nitrate dope was not ''glow fuel proof'' and Butyrate was fuel proof. At least that's what I remember from way back flying control line in the late 50's and 60's.
I would have to agree: Nitrate is not fuel proof.

Sorry for the confusion gents, post corrected. I've never used anything other than Butyrate myself. Not sure where I came up with the idea that Nitrate was nitro proof.
