RE: water based acrylic lacquer
People are using the two part auto clear coat, Lusterkote clear is fuel proof but it does yellow. I like the Klass Kote two part epoxy but plan on giving Nelsons water based clear a try real soon. I'm very lazy and hate cleaning my guns after use and water based is very easy to clean.
