Futaba 9C on 72mhz for all my planes (nitro and gas powered) and a Spectrum DX6i for all my electric helsi, 120SR as there is no other option. When I move to a 450 class (and eventually glow) I will probably keep it on the DX6i as well.

My 9-C I have the HItec module for 2.4 but I fly with another fellow that went with the JR Spektrum module and it works every bit as well. I see the people stating, the only radio I will ever need. I bought my 9-C when they first came out. Let's see what others have to say in a couple decades!! I would even like to be around then to see what they have to say. I was looking for a new radio and settled on the Hitec A-9 but why spend the money when the Futaba is still working. It's still the radio with total ease of set up.
