RE: rookie needs help buying a rc truck!
1/8th>1/10th, in more than size. With 1/8th basically all cars share roughly the same chassis type and layout with minor variations on the theme. Because its a highly evolved scale, and it's well known what works. This has led them to be the fastest most durable cars overall in the hobby. Basically, 1/8th is the optimum size for a radio control car that uses current technology. Of course they're more expensive, but yeh, better than 1/10th all over.
