I decided to pass the piston thru the lapping die for a few minutes....just to show how it works with the 1200 grit.... if i wanted I could use much more aggressive abrasive and take it down substantially more..and yes that is a modified piston and rod....rod is lightened and so is the piston.... the circlip was still in the piston, but the dog leg snapped off
