I almost feel dumb for posting this but i am just starting to build and i dont have very much experience. First question is i have the linkage rod going from the elevator servo to the elevator conector but the rod is pretty far away from the connector and i feel that if i bend the rod up to the connector to connect it, that i am putting too much strain on the elevator itself. What can i do?

What type of connnector do i need to connected the speed controller to the battery? as it stand it is just two wires
