I wouldn't get the old version it's $199.99 but you also get the old radio 27GHz FM I think? Everything is going to 2.4GHz and the newer one for $219.99 come with the 2.4GHz radio. But if you plan on buying a separate radio I would still buy the newer version and it would give you a 2.4GHz backup system.
(the one with the old transmitter is the old version the2.4ghzis the newer Water Proof one)
