This process is totally do able but by the time you put in all your man hours in , won't it far exceed the cost of a new piston and liner set? I could see this done on an obsolete engine where no parts are available.
not really.....what you see here took me all of 5 minutes to do...the piston/sleeve is worth about $200.00 with the mods.... so the 5 minutes is definitely worth saving a $200.00 piston/sleeve set..............
