Yes i did intend to use the gyro function on the 18MZ but at 1.00am Sunday morning my brain wasnot workingi in Futaba manual speak so i took the easy route.
I do intend to change to this function for rate setting and the good thing is you just have to look at the servo monitor screen to see what is actually happening with your settings until you get used to how it works.The next test will be AVCS /heading hold which I would like to try.I was speaking to one very well known top UK jet pilot on Sunday and he said you must try the heading hold it is the way to go for many manouvers, he uses it all the time and can switch it on and off in the gyro function.Any more veiws on heading hold and how best to use it would be of interest.
