Aircraft Spruce has 2024 alum bar stock for about $8/ft for 3/16". I measured my ply joiners and they are 0.200". The next thicker they have is 1/4". Probably will check with my local machine shop to see if they can make them and possibly mill 1/4" to .200". But I know I won't like what they'll charge. Maybe just go with the 3/16" even if a bit loose - it'll be strong enough.

I'm just about done with the basement guest room project so hoping to get back to work on the Fleet. Soldered up the cabanes and landing gear. Next to finish the elev rudder pushrod install and do some reinforcing in some places in the fuselage.
