gphil, the original post said you HATE disconnecting servo wires.

I think it’s a little harsh to say you should get out of the hobby if you hate disconnecting a wire, but that is where Kurt’s reply came from.

I do the same as many others. Six inch extensions stay in the receiver and colored zip ties on the extensions and servo leads tell me which is which.

I am not crazy about assembly/disassembly either but cannot avoid it with most 40 and 60 size planes. I cannot see well enough to fly models small enough to stay assembled all the time.
