Default RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?

well, I got a hold of SM, but now I still have an issue with my airplane to deal with :\ part of the fuselage is not cured and is still tacky and soft (either epoxy not mixed right on layup, or bad paint prep ? ) and the paint on the other side of that is bubbling off. There really is no way to repair this without cutting a chunk of the fuse out .. ( not an option obviously ) . SM offered to fix it, but I'd have to send the entire fuselage over to them including vert stab (to match paint pattern ) , and this ends up costing me well over $500 to just ship all of it to them back to China. I offered SM that I'd take a hit and just buy a new fuse from them if they can do it at 1/2 the cost .. still over $500 out of my pocket, but at least its not going back and fort for who knows how long :\ .. If SM agrees I'll suck it up and just get a new fuse .., otherwise, if I have to wait and deal with the hassle of shipping back and forth, i really think its up to them to arrange for pick up and shipping . Its too bad they have sporadic issues like this, because when you get a well built plane, they are awesome jets! I loved my 1st MB 339, however that too took some going back and fort to get one that was built right ( the first TWO shipped had issues, including wings that were not glued at all inside ) Friend of mine recently had a F5 blow apart int he air. The formers were not glued!! , and SM replaced the plane which is very commendable, but he still lost a lot of equipment... anyway, I'm waiting to see what the reply from SM is ...
