ok thanks, reason why I asked is that I got the tamiya metal spur hop ups, and my buddy that is getting me into r/c suggested I go all alloy or aluminum due to the amount of torque that the motor will generate and that I would want pieces to handle that twist.
He also mentioned for my racing setup that IF i can't find the metal spur then I should get one or a few milled, as the rest of the drive train is already metal. And for my racing setup a 25/55 or 25/58 setup on the tt-01 with an 80a/10t setup will be killer fast.
He also said for drifting I would want to go more low end stock gearing... 14-18/61 to get more torque/low end acceleration.
Does this sound about right?
