Default RE: Throttle linkage for Gas engines

ORIGINAL: pilotpete2

Ball links on both ends, Dubro flexible metal cable with the throttle spring left engaged. Very smooth and slop free, especially with the return spring engaged.
Pete
I should have said what Pete said BALL LINKS meaning on each end. Just dont use any clevises. I agree with the throttle spring also, I usually try to unhook it and move it to the next hole so the servo drain is a little less, but I would prefer a solid rod vs. cable which has some play involved, never tried the flexible cable but not sure what advantage it would have over a straight nyrod or metal rod.
