I'm really in no rush. She'll fly when she's ready. We are going to be out of the country over Christmas and New Years so I'm sure it won't be before then. Maybe in Late Jan. or Feb. is what I'm shooting for.
I could have it ready to maiden in two weeks just in the primer, but that wouldn't be right.
That is actually not a bad way to go doing the maiden in primer, I have done that in the past.. The biggest thing is you can make any changes after it flies, before all the finishes are done.. If god forbid, something goes wrong, you didn't waste hundreds of hours and $$ on tricking it all out yet..
I learned that the hard way years ago..
Once it is all set up flying like you like, break it down and scale it out, then when you re maiden her, you won't be shaking as bad, because you know how well she flies.... Sounds so simple on paper doesn't it....
