The span is approximately 107 inches. From what I can tell, the wings are built up wood and sheeted, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for the help. I'm a helicopter and powered airplane pilot. I wanted to get into hotliners or similar on the cheap by buying this at an auction. Turns out I may have bought a scale glider and I'm having second thoughts about hacking it off to install an electric motor.
