I just dont see how a shaft rotating inside something without a bearing is the best design, if you say it works then I guess it does. I like the idea of continued improvements but it is impossible for two materials to rub/rotate without some wear. Just to be clear im not talking about the part that attaches to the servo and goes into the control surface, I am just talking about the shaft going into the jet from the control surface.
Does the hole have something special like teflon or something?
Just my thoughts and personal liking, man 300 flights on the F-16 is out standing I need his landing gear for sure.

I have one J10 (canard set up is simiar to this). It has around 150 flights on. Never has a single issue or wear out on this part.
Mr. Liu flew his J10 more than 200 flights on, no issue on this part.
One customer has F16 1/5.5 scale, he got his model 5 or 6 months ago. He got more than 300 flights (fly almost every day) and never has an issue on this part.
Anyway, I will suggest this part to company if can be an option with bearing.
Thanks
James
