Also, I know that when the radio is in PPM mode, you have to push a button on the front in order for it to transmit. R u doing that?

The "RF On" and "RF Off" buttons have been pressed. When the "RF On" button is pressed the Blue light (RF On Indication) comes on for less than a second and the orange LED on the back stays off. That's what makes me think it is some kind of connection problem.
To be fair I would think this was the first or at least part of the first batch of 12XMV radios that were available in Canada. I have asked H.H. is there has been any software upgrades. Got told no! A person who was interested in buying it asked me to call up a glider screen and mine is NOT the same as one that was sent to H.H. for the DSMX mod. So I am not sure what the problem is. It would cost me a bunch to send this to H.H. to solve the problem and I think maybe the best approach for me is to just sell it and bite the bullet.
It works just great in DSMX mode I just what to switch to DMSS.
